SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA – Today, Derrick Anderson, candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 7th District, received the endorsement of Administrator for Federal Procurement Policy under President Trump, Dr. Michael E. Wooten from Prince William County.
“Derrick is ready to lead. He has the national security expertise we sorely need in Washington. His experience as a Green Beret, his constitutional background as an attorney, and his service in the Trump Administration, proves he is ready to serve on day one as our Representative in Congress,” said Administrator Wooten.
“I’m honored to receive Administrator Wooten’s endorsement. His extensive experience, his time in the Trump Administration, and his service to our country in the United States Marine Corps is truly inspiring. As a fellow combat veteran in Afghanistan, I am grateful to have Administrator Wooten’s support,” said Anderson.
Derrick Anderson is a native of Spotsylvania County, a graduate of Courtland High School, was in the Corps of Cadets at Virginia Tech, and received his J.D. from Georgetown Law. He is a former Special Forces “Green Beret” with 6 tours of duty overseas, including Afghanistan, Iraq, and various countries throughout the Middle East.
